Terms & conditions

PizzaExpress will supply PizzaExpress Gift Cards and eGift codes in
accordance with these terms and conditions. For the avoidance of doubt
all other terms whether contained or referred to in a customer’s order or
in any other document, are hereby excluded.

1. Pizza Express Gift Cards & eGift Codes

  • Once activated the value on this PizzaExpress Gift Card can be used as full or part payment at any PizzaExpress restaurant in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
  • The card can be loaded with any value between £5 and £250. The maximum value stored on the card is £250.
  • The monies on the card cannot be exchanged for cash. Any remaining balance will be stored on the card and may be used to pay for future purchase.
  • All monies on the card must be used by the expiry date which is 24 months from the date the card was activated, or the date it was last spent. Any balance left on the card after 24 months of not being used will be deducted.
  • You should treat this card as cash - it cannot be replaced if lost.
  • To check the remaining balance on your card call 0191 250 4531. Calls are charged at local rate.
  • This card is not a credit, debit or cheque guarantee card.
  • PizzaExpress reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time or withdraw the card on reasonable notice. Your statutory rights are not affected.

  • If a Voucher is deleted, or you change your mobile phone number or email address after purchasing a Voucher, or if you should have any other queries concerning eGift vouchers please contact our customer services team on 0191 250 4531 or cc@pizzaexpressbusiness.com who will be happy to help. Our opening hours are Monday – Friday 08.30 to 19.00.

2. Purchase, Delivery & Supply
• Whenever possible PizzaExpress Gift Cards will be dispatched on the
day cleared funds are received by PizzaExpress prior to 1pm. If an
order/cleared funds are received after 1pm, the products will be
dispatched the next working day. Please note that the date of dispatch
and delivery to a customer is not of the essence.
• eGift Codes will be dispatched the following working business day
providing orders are received and payment is clear prior to 1pm. If an
order/cleared funds are received after 1pm, the products will be
dispatched the next working day.
• eGift code orders cannot be amended or cancelled once submitted to
PizzaExpress. Please make sure all details are correct. They cannot be
returned unused.
• All orders will be acknowledged and confirmed by PizzaExpress
personnel and a specific order number issued.
Customers must notify PizzaExpress as soon as they are aware of
non-delivery, and in any event within 24 hours of due delivery date. Any
short delivery must be notified to PizzaExpress within 3 days of delivery.
• PizzaExpress Gift Cards and eGift Codes are not sold on a sale or return
basis and no return will be permitted unless it can be demonstrated that
PizzaExpress has been in error in fulfilling the customer’s order.
• PizzaExpress Gift Cards will be delivered to the customer by agreed
delivery service. Risk will pass to the customer upon delivery, and title will
pass upon receipt of cleared funds.
• PizzaExpress endeavours to deliver its products in good condition but if
for any reason goods are received in less than good condition they will be
replaced with an equal product subject to the discretion of the provider.
• Gift Card orders over £2,500 will be dispatched inactive, please contact
PizzaExpress for Business via email to activate your order at
• PizzaExpress reserves the right to refuse to accept an order and also
reserves the right to immediately suspend the fulfilment of an order if the
customer is in breach of any of these terms and conditions.
• No trade mark, service mark, corporate name or other trading name of
PizzaExpress or any of its subsidiary companies may be used by a
customer without that customer first obtaining the prior written
permission of PizzaExpress.
• If any of the provisions of this agreement shall be found by any court to
be invalid or unenforceable such invalidity or unenforceability shall not
affect the other provisions of this agreement which shall remain in full
force and effect.
• A person who is not a party to this agreement will acquire no rights
under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce or take
the benefit of any of these terms and conditions.
• Breach of these conditions will entitle PizzaExpress to discontinue
supply immediately and seek legal remedy available for injunction,
damages or otherwise.
• Customers may not sell PizzaExpress Gift Cards or eGift Codes to third
parties unless they receive a contractual commitment from PizzaExpress
that the gift certificates will not be re-sold by them, or any subsequent
purchaser, to groups or individuals at a discount.
• This agreement to supply PizzaExpress Gift Cards and eGift Codes shall
be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England
and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
• PizzaExpress reserves the right to alter any of the above terms and
conditions but undertakes that before so doing it will serve a reasonable
notice upon the customer. The customer may not vary the terms and
conditions and any attempt to vary these terms will not be affective
unless it is in writing and signed on behalf of PizzaExpress.
• Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect a customer’s
statutory rights.

3. Data Protection Notice
• Any personal or company data obtained will be held and processed in
accordance with relevant legislation by PizzaExpress.
• Personal or company data will not be passed to any other organisation
unless it is necessary to do so to fulfil obligations under this consent.
• A person or company has the right to request access to personal or
company data held by PizzaExpress at any time by writing to
PizzaExpress, 5th Floor, 2 Balcombe Street, London, NW1 6NW.
• PizzaExpress should be informed of any inaccuracy in the data in order
that it may be rectified. Information held may be used by PizzaExpress to
send details of other products and services.
